The 8th China Qingzhou Flower Fair opened in Qingzhou of Shandong Porvince from September 25th to October 5th. The Fair attracted visitors all over the country, with nearly 100 thousand visitors a day. Over one thousand pots of various flowers were displayed. In the trading hall, the flowers were so attractive that visitors were enthusiastic to take their favourits home. Business was flourishing and the flower growers were happy. Sun Baoxing was a flower grower in the Osmanthus Garden Community of Representative Office of Qingzhou in Wangfujing. He has grown flowers, mainly osmanthus, since his 20s. Since the first China Flower Fair in 2001, he had taken part in every fair and this was his eighth time, as he benefited a lot from the Fairs. Our flower growers hope the Flower Fair will be larger in scale and better in quality." Qingzhou has enjoyed its honer as "the City of Flowers and Trees" for a long time and so for over 100 notable flower enterprises of home and abroad have set their commercial networks here, which makes Qingzhou a production center and distribution for potted flower. In Qingzhou, with 100 thousand-acre land used for growing flowers, there are 120 professional flower growing villages and 50 thousand people working flower-related industries, producing an annual volumn of trade as much as 2.5 billion.
