MORE THAN TWO DOZEN PEOPLE ARE ARRESTED IN A HUGE DRUG BUST IN WOODFORD COUNTY, KENTUCKY.
VERSAILLES POLICE, ALONG WITH KENTUCKY STATE POLICE, ROUNDED-UP ABOUT TWENTY-FIVE PEOPLE WEDNESDAY MORNING AND HAULED THEM OFF TO JAIL.
COPS ALSO SEIZED VEHICLES AND FOUND THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS IN ILLEGAL DRUGS.
HOWEVER, AT LEAST ONE INNOCENT PERSON GOT CAUGHT UP IN THE RAID-- SHE LIVES IN THE HOME WHERE A DRUG OFFENDER ALSO LIVED.
Trooper Calhoun says: "Anything from pills to cocaine, marijuana."
Officer Melton says: "Teamwork has been super. Good successful drug roundup so far."
Raven says: "I was scared. That's a heck of a way to be woke up in the morning that's for sure."
Raven says: "One of our good friends lived here before we did. I've never met this guy."
Officer Melton says: "We're always out there you never know who you're buying or who you're selling drugs to and that's, uh we have undercover officers and investigations every day and we work hard to protect this community and protect our kids."
THE BUST COMES AFTER MANY MONTHS OF UNDERCOVER INVESTIGATION.
POLICE HOPE THIS SENDS A MESSAGE TO CRIMINALS WHO DIDN'T GET ARRESTED, THAT THEY WILL EVENTUALLY GET CAUGHT.
