IF IT SNOWED MORE THAN TWO INCHES, THE STORE WOULD REFUND ALL MONEY SPENT ON PURCHASES MADE BETWEEN NOVEMBER NINETEENTH AND DECEMBER SEVENTEENTH.
IOWA HAD A VERY WHITE CHRISTMAS - AND THE WINTER STORM DROPPED OVER SEVEN INCHES.
THE STORE GAVE UP OVER ONE-HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS WORTH OF MERCHANDISE.
GOOD THING THE OWNERS TOOK OUT INSURANCE FOR THE PROMOTION.
PERRY says: "We love it because it's something that was good for our customers. It was good for us, and it's good for our community. And for 38 years that's been one of my primary concerns. It's to try and give back to the community as much as we can. And ah, this is just one more way that God has given us that opportunity."
KEVIN says: "Well I actually was planning on going to one of the bigger chains in the city. But I realized that you know, maybe we can have a little Christmas Miracle or something and get our money back."
