PATIENTS WERE FOLLOWED MORE THAN A DECADE.
THE TEAM DISCOVERED WEIGHT LOSS SURGERY PATIENTS WERE NEARLY A THIRD LESS LIKE TO HAVE A HEART ATTACK OR STROKE.
MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS NOT INVOLVED IN THE STUDY BELIEVE THE FINDINGS SHOW ADDITIONAL BENEFITS TO UNDERGOING THE SURGERY.
HOWEVER ALL AGREED PATIENTS SHOULD CAREFULLY WEIGH ALL THE OPTIONS BEFORE CONSIDERING SURGERY.
