PRESIDENT OBAMA IS SET TO MEET WITH ISRAELI PRIME MINISTER NETANYAHU ON MONDAY (3/5).
AND HE ISN'T BEING SHY ABOUT THE U-S' STANCE ON IRAN.
OBAMA SAYS HE ISN'T BLUFFING WHEN HE SAYS IT IS UNACCEPTABLE FOR IRAN TO HAVE A NUCLEAR WEAPON.
SENATOR JOSEPH LIEBERMAN SPOKE OUT TODAY (3/2) URGING U-S OFFICIALS TO KEEP A CLOSE EYE ON IRAN'S INTENTIONS.
LIEBERMAN says: "The most effective thing we can do in response to that kind of attempt by Iran to manipulate the price of gasoline here is to be very skeptical when Iran says anything like that and obviously to be, to think about what iran's power would be with a nuclear weapon to affect the world oil markets and the price we pay for oil and gas here in America."

LIEBERMAN says: "I'm convinced that the regime in power in tehran does not have the support of anywhere near a majority of the iranian people. They want freedom just like the people of the rest of the Middle East. It's ironic that while freedom is moving through countries like Egypt, Tunisia, Libya and this extraordinarily brave resistance in Syria to the Assad government, that people of iran continue to be repressed by a brutal dictatorship. But they're not on the side of history. Ultimately the people are gonna throw these fanatics out in iran."

LIEBERMAN says: "When the president says it's unacceptable for iran to have a nuclear weapon and then he says, I'm not bluffing, that not only sends a very important message of strength and determination to the fanatics who run iran and but it also sends a message of reassurance to the israelis. And, hopefully that's part of the spirit of unity that will come out of this meeting over the weekend or on Monday between the president and the prime minister. Nobody gains from the U.S. and Israel having space between us on the question of Iran's nuclear program except for the extremists who run iran today."
PRESIDENT OBAMA WILL ADDRESS THE AMERICAN ISRAEL PUBLIC AFFAIRS COMMITTEE ON SUNDAY (3/4) TO REAFFIRM THE NATION'S COMMITMENT TO A UNIFIED FRONT AGAINST IRAN.
