As many continue to pump water out...other residents had to be pulled out of their homes as water streamed inside.

Rebecca O'Gara and her friend had to be pulled from their home as water consumed their apartment in the basement.
12:18:23-:37--"We picked everything up and grabbed as much as we could and the waters coming out of the walls, out of my basement windows. And by the time we got up and ran to my other friend's house whose on Maple right there it was already going up."
Other residents on Maple including the Hinds family were also pulled from their home to dry land.

01:11:07-"My husband, he went over there to save his friends and he looked and everything's gone, everything. It's just crazy, we're homeless now, I could just say. We lost everything."
Residents weren't the only ones affected...fire and police also had to be evacuated after their building was filled with 3 feet of water.
