Three on a String, it said at the „Alfred-Brehm-Haus“ of the Tierpark of Berlin. After a two year break was it the first litter of the Jaguars in Berlin.
The triplets, there are two males and one female, are the second litter of the female 'Anafi' (born 2001 in Tierpark Berlin). For the Father "Tipito" (born in 2006 in Aschersleben Zoo), the first since 2007 lives in the zoo, however, it was a premiere.
Although it is only the second litter of Anafi is, she is in the audience for a non-accessible desk weeks, in ways of caring for their triplets. With almost five weeks the young begin slowly to explore their environment, and it will not wait long until they are in the Schaubox for the visitors to see.
The two small boy-cat named "Jumanes" and "Atiero" the little girl-cat named „Valdivia". As the parents are the triplets spotted. The jaguar is the only big cat in the New World, whose circulation extends from Central to South America.
